Cortex Area Prefrontal Frontal Lobe Regions Perception Prospective

Text Frontal Lobe regions:

1) Prefrontal cortex - perception, prospective memory, emotion, impulse control, long term planning, (through reticular formation) alertness & arousal
2) Broca's Area - speech production, found in the left hemisphere of precentral gyrus
3) Motor cortex - initiates voluntary movement by sending impulses down the spinal cord --> muscles
